  • Raw jackfruit – 500g (peeled & cubed)

  • Onion – 2 medium (finely chopped)

  • Tomato – 2 (pureed or chopped)

  • Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp

  • Green chili – 1 slit

  • Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

  • Red chili powder – 1 tsp

  • Coriander powder – 1½ tsp

  • Garam masala – ½ tsp

  • Mustard seeds – ½ tsp

  • Cumin seeds – ½ tsp

  • Curry leaves – few

  • Salt – to taste

  • Oil – 2 to 3 tbsp

  • Coriander leaves – for garnish

  4. Add ginger-garlic paste and fry for 1 minute.

  5. Mix in turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.

  6. Add tomato and cook till the oil separates.

  8. Cover and cook on low flame for 10 minutes.

  9. Sprinkle garam masala and chopped coriander before serving.
