BITTER GOURD AND HEALTH FACTS
Bitter gourd contains bioactive compounds called saponins and terpenoids.

Bitter gourd recipe
Ingredient
Small Bitter gourd-250 gm
moong dal- 2 Tablespoon
onion -2
green chilli-1
curry leaves
mustard and urad dal -2 spoon
grated coconut -3 poon
salt as required
Method:
1. Wash the bitter gourd thoroughly in water and slice it into small pieces. boil the
moong dal in 250ml of water.
2. When the lentils are boiled in half, add bitter gourd and the required salt.
3. when the bitter gourd is cooked well then off the stove and keep aside.
4. Keep a pan on the stove and add one spoon of oil
and add mustard and urad dal, when it splutters add curry leaves, and green chilli,
stir it and then add boiled bitter gourd
