Beetroot is a healthy vegetable, which is the taproot portion of a beet plant. Beets are commonly grown in eastern Europe and the Middle East. They are also a good source of dietary fiber vitamins and minerals. Beets have many health benefits. one of the vegetable's attributes is that it has strong blood-purifying properties. People have used beetroots for centuries to prevent and treat inflammation, diabetes, heart conditions, and even gout. Few people know that the purifying properties of beets come from the vegetable's red pigment-anthocyanins.




Beetroots are high in nitrates, which promote blood flow and athletic performance. According to research consuming nitrates from beetroots increases the production of nitric oxide in the body. Nitrate oxide is a natural substance that helps blood vessels relax and reduces the risk of blood clots forming. Beets are also an excellent source of nitrate, another compound that promotes healthy blood vessel function. In addition, beets contain healthy amounts of folic acid magnesium, potassium, and zinc. Folate, magnesium, and zinc contribute to the reduction of blood clots by strengthening blood cell formation, while potassium aids in reducing stress on the heart.

Beetroots also have anti-inflammatory properties. The root contains antioxidants such as alpha carotenealpha-carotene, beta carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin. These nutrients help maintain a healthy immune system and reduce inflammation in the body. People traditionally used beets to prevent blood loss during hemorrhage during childbirth. Today, people use beets for medicinal purposes due to their antimicrobial properties - they effectively fight bacteria and fungi.

Beetroot Recipe:

Ingredient:

Beetroot - 250gm

onion -1 

green chilli-1

curry leaves -1

salt as required.

coconut grated - 2 tablespoons.



Method:

1. Take the beetroot peel the skin and slice it into small pieces. put the sliced vegetable in a pan and keep it on a stove.

2. Add the required amount of water and salt.


3. Wait until it boiled well and the water dries up. Then off the stove. keep them aside.

4. Keep a pan on the stove and pour2 tablespoons of oil into the pan and add mustard, and urad dal in the oil .when it crackled then add chopped onion and chopped green chilli, and curry leaves stir it well. 

5. Then add the boiled beetroot and stir it well.

6. After 2 minutes add some grated coconut and stir it once.  The beetroot porial is ready now. off the stove and serve it hot.
